Balsamic Roasted Onions

Products Used: OTO Reserve Balsamic Vinegar (18 Year Style), Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar
Our traditional balsamics add complex and aromatic flavors to roasted onions, the perfect complement to your favorite steak, beef, or lamb dishes.
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons OTO Reserve or Pomegranate Balsamic
- 1/2 tablespoon Fresh thyme, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 red onions, quartered
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Combine butter, vinegar, thyme, salt, and pepper in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until butter melts. Place onions cut side up on a baking sheet. Drizzle with the butter/vinegar mixture. Roast in oven until soft and caramelized, about 35-45 minutes.
For a tasty side dish, add some carrots to the mix.
