Salad with Walnut Oil and Blue Cheese
The delicious and complex flavors of fruit, blue cheese, and our French Walnut Oil and Red Apple Balsamic combine to make a hearty salad perfect for fall.
- mixed baby greens
- 1 endive, finely sliced
- 2 tablespoons dried cherries
- 1 apple, sliced
- 3/4 cup OTO French Walnut Oil
- 3 tablespoons OTO Red Apple Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- blue cheese crumbles
- toasted almonds
Whisk together the Red Apple Vinegar, lemon zest, and syrup. Slowly whisk in Walnut Oil, then salt and pepper to taste.
Combine the greens, endive, cherries, and apple and toss with dressing. Top with blue cheese and toasted almonds.
